Lukas Linnig, CFA, born in 1993, studied Business Sciences at
University Hagen parallel to his high school graduation. He received his
Bachelor of Science in Economics, with a focus on finance & banking
and statistics & applied mathematics. Moreover, he is a Chartered Financial Analyst and passed all three levels on the first attempt.
Prior to his employment at
BRAIN, Linnig was a financial consultant at the financial advisory firm
FAS AG. As such he came to BRAIN in 2015 supporting the company’s IPO in
February 2016 and establishing a finance controlling system. In April
2017 Linnig joined BRAIN AG and is responsible for Finance, Controlling and Legal. He is directly reporting to the Chief Financial Officer
(CFO) at BRAIN.
Prior to his work for FAS AG Linnig was project
manager at Venture Stars GmbH, a venture capitalist fund and company
builder in Munich. In this position he consulted and gave guidance to
various start-up companies and founders in different market segments.
Linnig is author of various scientific publications in the finance
sector with focus on valuation of intangible assets. He also holds a
Certificate in International Accounting (CINA).
