Martin is also a member of the German section of the Pharma Licensing Club. Apart form that he has represented BRAIN since June 2018 as deputy chairman of the executive board in the IWBio e.V. German Industrial Biotechnology Association. In July 2020 he was appointed as a member of the supervisory board of Enzymicals AG in Greifswald, Germany.
