Training completed – jobs, here we come!
New Specialists of the Year: Our three trainees have their diplomas in the bag
Mission accomplished: After three years, our three trainees Chiara, Franka and José have completed their training at BRAIN. Chiara and Franka are now officially certified biology laboratory technicians, José is now an office management assistant.
The two young women's training at BRAIN Biotech took them into areas such as molecular biology, microbiology and cell culture. As part of a training cooperation arrangement with the science and technology company Merck KGaA, they learned about the subjects of pharmacology, hematology and histology, which are also required for training, in the company's training laboratories at the Darmstadt site. José, in turn, gained an intensive insight into all administrative areas and processes of the company. He himself focused on the topics of purchasing and logistics as well as management assistance and secretarial work.
Their last days as trainees was the occasion to officially congratulate the three on passing their exams during a small ceremony. R&D Manager Michael Krohn and HR Manager Ute Dechert used their speeches to thank the three trainees for the valuable support the company had already received from them during their training period. This had been characterized above all by the conscientious, reliable, flexible and open manner of the young people.
What's next for the three? They have permanent employment contracts at BRAIN! Chiara will probably find her place in molecular biology or microbiology, Franka has her eye on process development or fermentation. And José will support the central administration as a team assistant.
