Three questions for …
… Research Technician Sabine Weber and Research Associate Dirk Ritzmann.
A company’s employees are the key to its success – at BRAIN, this is not only empty talk but an intrinsic part of our corporate culture. The more ingenious and creative our employees, the more innovative and stronger this makes us as a company that focuses on biotechnological research.
If you take pleasure in leaving established patterns and procedures behind and are keen to take on high levels of personal responsibility while working in a dynamic team, you will instantly feel at home in our company. Having set our sights on an ambitious growth path, we are looking for committed individuals who want to actively shape the transition to a knowledge-based bioeconomy.
From analytics and protein engineering to cell culturing, you will help us break down scientific and technical barriers as they arise so as to implement BRAIN‘s own product ideas or those of our partners with determination – and you will never stop learning.
In our interdisciplinary microbiology and molecular biology teams, you will continuously expand our BioArchive and optimize both microbial production strains and enzymes for tailor-made products – and you will recognize what difference the smallest of details can make.
In the areas of bioprocess development and downstreaming, you will optimize our cultivation and fermentation methods, involving volumes of up to several cubic meters, for tailor-made offers to partners and customers both within and outside the BRAIN Group – and you will rise above yourself in doing so.
Embedded in our business and technology units, you will analyze markets, explore trends, use your knowledge to make innovative BRAIN solutions a reality and support B2B partners within cooperation projects – and you will constantly broaden your own horizons.
Working in a dynamic team, you will devote yourself to the complex and multifaceted tasks undertaken by the publicly listed and internationally positioned BRAIN Group, be it HR and purchasing, finance and controlling, investor relations or communication – and you will learn how to act purposefully within a matrix organization.
BRAIN stands for expertise, reliability and distinctiveness and endorses an extraordinary culture of innovation in which highly skilled scientists, engineers, technicians, and managers work hand-in-glove in an interdisciplinary fashion to promote new product ideas and market offerings.
BRAIN offers a dynamic working environment and believes in an open discussion culture and flat hierarchies. Based on a highly efficient matrix organization, the “BRAIN organism” thrives on the creative and result-oriented collaboration of its committed staff.
BRAIN cultivates both informal and official global networks with renowned scientists and research institutions, is involved in public basic and development research and a member of numerous forums, aiming to share its own expertise and experience with other bioeconomy players and to learn from mutual experience.
