Voluntary Ecological Year (FÖJ)

You would like to do something for the environment after graduating from school, you still do not know what to do next, and you would like to do something meaningful while you ponder over your future? Or you are not quite sure whether BRAIN and the biotechnology industry are the right choice for you? For the latter group we organize two-hour school or university student group visits to provide insights into our research work and BRAIN’s corporate culture. If you are part of the first group, you may do a Voluntary Ecological Year (FÖJ) with us and take a deep dive into the company.

The Voluntary Ecological Year is geared at young persons who have completed their compulsory schooling, are under 27 years of age, and are keen to spend twelve months in the service of nature and the environment. Such a year will give you the opportunity to find out what you want to do next. You will also gain some initial hands-on work experience and you can put your own knowledge and capabilities to a real-life test while you are part of BRAIN’s project teams. Voluntary Ecological Years at our company are organized through successful cooperation with the Volunta NPE.

Interested in a Voluntary Ecological Year at BRAIN? Then apply through the Volunta website and quote BRAIN (Zwingenberg, Germany) as your preferred place of assignment.
